If the service technicians can not repair the AED on site, AED-Partner will lend you a properly working AED. This way you’re always assured of a life-saving device.

Our service technician will replace the parts such as electrodes, battery or rescue kit. If necessary, we read out the AED (ECG data/heart film) and send it to the attending physician.

The shelf life of the battery depends on the brand and type of AED.
The expiration date is not printed on the battery because it’s unknown when it was placed in the AED. The lifespan does not begin until the battery is installed.

The shelf life of the electrodes differs per AED. The expiration date is stated on the packaging. Because the electrodes can dry out, it’s advisable to replace them in good time to ensure a properly functioning AED.

For both the life of the battery and the electrodes, it’s important that they are not exposed to extreme temperature variations.
