Unique and successful project: AED-Alert

AED-Partner is very proud that our Director, Jan Smale, has stood at the foundation of the current HartslagNu with the establishment of AED-Alert. This unique project began in 2007 and has grown into a nationwide call system for burgerhulpverlener (civilian emergency responders), making it unique in the world. Recent research has shown that the chance of survival in the event of a cardiac arrest at home has risen from 26 to 39 percent, because the control rooms also call civilian emergency responders. We're even more proud of the 245,000 civilian emergency responders who save 50% more lives!
